Since 1999 I have probably performed at every major venue in Tulsa at least 5 times and Post Oak Lodge is no exception. This place expansive, unique, intimate, well-designed, convenient and well-maintained. When you drive to Post Oak Lodge for the first time you will be shocked by just how big the campus is. I’ve stayed at numerous resorts over the years and this facility stacks up with the best of them. It’s built in a way that resembles a ski lodge of some kind. The main hall has massive vaulted ceilings and a gorgeous fire place in the center of the room. This main building features multiple locations for dancing and celebrating. I believe in all their are 4 unique locations for couples to host their wedding receptions. As Tulsa DJs we get a lot of calls from brides and grooms who are looking for a recommendation for a “unique” place, and this place meets this standard as well.
Behind the building is a beautiful pool area and in the nearby woods their are numerous great locations for couples to host and outdoor ceremony. Couples can get married in the woods or they can get married on this unique island in the center of the pond they created when they built the lodge. Because of its hilltop location in the northwest Tulsa guests get an unobstructed view of downtown Tulsa that is breath-taking at night.
Despite the facility’s timeless and rustic lodge look it is all loaded up with the best of modern conveniences. Their staff is detail-orientated and cordial. They are always very helpful and we sincerely appreciate the way they maintain the facility and respond the guests.
